The Path That Shaped My Purpose

About Bobbi Martin

UX Researcher. Mentor. Advocate for Clarity.

I’ve spent over 25 years in UX, research, and digital strategy — helping people and organizations find alignment between what they build and who they serve.
But beyond the projects, what matters most to me is helping people move from uncertainty to confidence.

I’ve worked with startups, ministries, nonprofits, and enterprise teams — and across all of them, one truth holds steady: clarity always creates momentum. That belief shapes everything I do — from my mentoring sessions to my approach to UX research.

My Career Path

Designing with Purpose

My career started long before “UX” was a common term. I began in front-end development and digital design, where curiosity led me into user testing, analytics, and strategy.

That mix of disciplines shaped how I see experience design — not just as pixels or data, but as a story that connects people and purpose.

Over the years, I’ve led research initiatives, coached teams, and built frameworks that helped mission-driven organizations grow through empathy and evidence.

Now, I focus on empowering other professionals to do the same — whether through UX mentorship, workshops, or strategic consulting.

My Mentorship Philosophy

Mentorship That Meets You Where You Are

Mentorship isn’t about giving answers — it’s about asking the right questions.

My approach combines structure with empathy, helping mentees define their goals, uncover blockers, and find confidence in their next steps.

Every session is guided but personal — grounded in your context, your challenges, and your potential.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start.

My Philosophy

What I Believe

Clarity beats perfection.

You don’t need to be ready — you need to be honest about where you are.

Growth takes alignment.

Your goals, values, and skills should point in the same direction.

Mentorship is collaboration.

We build momentum together — not alone.

My Life

Life Beyond the Screen

I’m married with two wonderful kids who keep life honest, funny, and never predictable. Our weekends usually involve hiking local trails, discovering new waterfalls, and turning quiet evenings into puzzle marathons or board game battles.

When I’m not outside, you’ll find me volunteering, gaming on my PC, or hosting family dinners that last far too long — because I believe community is built one meal, one laugh, and one shared story at a time.
